Joanna attended Purdue University and graduated with a BA in Linguistics and a minor in Creative Writing.
Professional Life: It is a common saying that many people find themselves in the insurance industry by chance, unsure how they ended up there. This was certainly the case for Joanna. In late 2019, after a successful 5-year career in banking, she began her career as a commercial lines account manager. In April 2026, she joined Fairway Risk Solutions. She has a wealth of experience in the field, having serviced a wide variety of businesses. She loves interacting with clients and learning as much as she can to develop her expertise in the field.
Personal Life: Joanna lives in Northwest Indiana with her husband, Stephen, who is working to become an ordained minister. They have 2 young boys, Emmett and Everett, who are active in sports and never make for a boring moment. They have 2 cats, a dog, and a gecko. Working remotely is a highly valued privilege for her, as her husband’s career could eventually demand they move throughout the country. She prefers warmer climates and has a goal of living somewhere with palm trees. She enjoys using her sense of humor to connect with others.
